I've had a lifelong interest in the creative process in both art and science. I believe that creativity results from re-engaging that inner child whose imagination had no fences. I take inspiration from the Art Nouveau period when functional items were re-imagined and created with style and beauty.

I am especially fascinated with inclusions and textures, and mixing different mediums. My love of color and my sense of humor influence many designs.

My formal training and most of my career has been focused in product development and global marketing in the life sciences. In any spare time between career and all the others joys of life, I worked with metal, wire, gemstones, wood, and other mediums, learning new techniques.  I continue to learn and adapt new techniques to grow as an artist and to create new artistic delights.

I have created custom jewelry and functional glass art for private and corporate clients and provided pieces for the Morris Museum Gift Shop in Morristown, NJ. I am member of the Glass Art Society and have exhibited at arts festivals including the Peters Valley Craft Fair (NJ) and the Berkshires Arts Festival (MA).
